In response to a season of photography exhibitions at the National Museum of Wales - Women in Focus, is a two day conference that aims address the politics of photography in terms of its relationship to citizenship. Its focus will be on the ways in which women have been represented by photography and how they have shaped, and continue to shape, the history of photography.
Form member, Jo Coates, will be taking part in a panel to discuss the representations and influences of class in photography.
Tickets are £30 full price and £20 on production of a Student Union Card.
This covers two full conference days, evening talk and reception at Ffotogallery on the evening of 24 January and tea and coffee during the conference.
