The collective recently met at Output Gallery in Liverpool, where we spent the day presenting new works and ideas to one another with the help of Gabrielle De La Puente from The White Pube. An important part of our practice as a collective is feedback and crit. We’re hoping to exhibit the projects we’re currently nurturing. More news to come soon…

Our collective member Kevin Casey has launched his new photobook: Shouldn’t Throw Stones - The View of a Night Watchman
A long-term project, this photobook follows an exhibition at the Pilkington Glass HQ in St Helens Merseyside. The project consists of capturing the stories of current and ex workers from what was a British industrial glass empire and it’s fall from grace. Kevin has photographed and interviewed workers, collected artefacts and mementos left on the site and document the rituals and routines of a night worker.
He will be at The Open Eye Gallery in conversation with my writer & contributor of “Shouldn’t Throw Stones” Laura Robertson. Also we will be joined by designer, fellow collaborator and co -publisher Matt Lewis
If you are unable to make it to the gallery, the book can also be purchased online at https://lensbasedmedia.bigcartel.com

Our collective member Rachael Burns is exhibiting The Bathroom Darkroom Project, which involved turning one of the bathrooms of her shared rented house into a darkroom, opening up the house as subject matter and inviting artists in to make work on site. Work from the project can be found @bathroomdarkroomproject on Instagram.
The work created in the Bathroom Darkroom will be exhibited at the Grosvenor Gallery at Manchester School of Art with alongside the launch of a publication combining the images with writing around the subject.
